serving bay area and hawaiiHi, I’m Maggie! I’m here to tell your story, just as it is!
I began my journey as a traveler with a camera, drawn to nature and landscapes and the quiet beauty of things as they are. After picking up my first camera in 2016, that love for observing, slowing down, and documenting the world naturally evolved into photographing people and their stories.
Genuine connection and community mean everything to me, and they shape both how I live and how I work. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll most likely find me with a matcha in hand, soaking up the sun, barefoot at the beach, or living in linen—always chasing warmth and light.
Photography allows me to stay present, build meaningful relationships, and document life as it unfolds, honestly, thoughtfully, and with heart.
With 10 years of experience behind the camera I bring both industry knowledge and a thoughtful, people-first approach to my work.
I spent more than four years working as a primary photographer with an established wedding team, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced environments and learning how to document meaningful moments with consistency and care.
Alongside that, I’ve built and grown my own photography business —working closely with couples and families through some of life’s most important milestones. This combination of team-based wedding experience and independent business ownership allows me to approach each session with confidence, professionalism, and intention.
What drives my work
-
I believe the most meaningful photographs come from slowing down and allowing moments to unfold naturally. Rather than directing every movement, I focus on creating space—so you can be fully yourselves and truly present with one another.
-
I trust deeply in the process and approach each session with curiosity and care, taking the time to understand who you are, how you love, and what matters most to you. My role is not just to take photos, but to guide an experience that feels relaxed, thoughtful, and meaningful.
-
I believe photographs should feel honest and lived-in—not overly posed or performative. The small gestures, shared glances, quiet pauses, and in-between moments are what tell your story best. If you value connection over perfection and presence over posing, we’ll be a great fit.
More about me
I thrive near water
If there’s an ocean involved, I’m swimming, surfing, scuba diving (licensed!), or freediving.
On the land…
You’ll find me binge-watching who-did-it mysteries, getting way too invested in Love Is Blind, or romanticizing my life while journaling.
In Case You’re Wondering…
I take my matcha seriously, my linen wardrobe seriously, and hot pot very seriously—especially when it’s shared with good company.
